Young Telugu actor Akhil Raj, who rose to fame with Raju Weds Rambai, has responded to the viral controversy involving an alleged altercation with a food delivery executive. A video circulating on social media claimed that the actor behaved aggressively and physically confronted the delivery boy, leading to widespread criticism online. As the controversy gained momentum, Akhil released a selfie video on Instagram explaining his side of the incident.

According to Akhil Raj, the issue began when a delivery executive mistakenly handed over a food parcel meant for Flat No. 201, Chelam Residency to his family’s residence at Flat No. 201, Aruna Residency. He said the address on the package clearly mentioned the correct apartment, but the delivery executive allegedly failed to verify the address, recipient’s name, or OTP before completing the delivery. Since the family believed someone at home had placed the order, Akhil’s father accepted the parcel, and later his mother unknowingly opened it.

Akhil said the delivery executive returned nearly 20 minutes later asking for the parcel back. When questioned about why he had not verified the address before delivering it, the actor claimed the delivery executive admitted that he had not checked the details. Akhil said the conversation was initially calm but became heated after his mother stepped in, apologized for opening the package unknowingly, and tried to resolve the matter.

The actor alleged that despite the apology, the delivery executive began speaking disrespectfully and made offensive remarks about his mother before taking out his phone and recording a video. Akhil claimed the recording was done deliberately to provoke a reaction and create controversy.

Defending his actions, Akhil said he could not remain silent when someone insulted his mother. “If someone speaks disrespectfully about my parents, I will definitely respond. I have done nothing wrong, and I don’t feel the need to apologize,” he said in the video. He maintained that the viral clips do not show the complete sequence of events and insisted that his reaction came only after the delivery executive crossed the line.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some users supporting Akhil’s explanation while others continue to question his conduct. As of now, no official complaint or legal action has been reported by either party.
