Chennai: Wedding rumours surrounding popular music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran, CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad and daughter of media baron Kalanithi Maran, continue to generate buzz on social media. While speculation about their relationship has been circulating for months, neither Anirudh nor Kavya has officially confirmed any plans to get married.

Adding fuel to the rumours, veteran actor Y. G. Mahendran, who is Anirudh’s uncle, recently shared his thoughts on the ongoing speculation. Speaking during a media interaction, Mahendran said he hopes to hear “good news” soon, a remark that has once again sparked discussions among fans.

Describing Anirudh as a kind-hearted and humble person, Mahendran said the composer appears to be completely focused on his career at the moment. He added that if the reports about Anirudh and Kavya eventually turn out to be true, he would be happy for the couple and would wholeheartedly bless them.

Although Mahendran’s comments have intensified speculation, there has been no official confirmation from either Anirudh Ravichander or Kavya Maran regarding their relationship or marriage plans. As of now, the reports remain unverified and should be treated as rumours.

Anirudh, one of South India’s most sought-after music composers, is currently busy with multiple high-profile film projects across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. Kavya Maran, meanwhile, continues to play a key role in managing the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise and other responsibilities within the Sun Group.
